We had a cozy Christmas in snowy Bend this year. Feasting on crab, listening to Xmas music, and hitting the sled hill. It was fun to see the anticipation for Santa's arrival and watch their imagination soar.
The kids indeed made Santa's nice list and he even accepted the cookies and carrots that were left out. Piper was excited with the mermaid doll Santa left her and Jett and Calvin were stoked on the spiderman figures and talking buttons stating their super hero status.
The indoor playhouse that Dave built out of the cardboard pieces from the boys new beds turned out really well. If you only new the hours that went into this thing...but man it is cool Xmas lights and all! What a cool daddy these lucky monkeys have!!!
The boys LOVE their new personalized capes from Auntie Lisa and Uncle Kevin. This gift really rounded out the super hero theme that has been happening!
One thing to the next...and it was Calvin and Jett's birthday! The big boys turned Three! Thanks to Grandparents and family the present opening marathon kept on going and it seemed endless when lumped in with Christmas. Oh well, they loved every minute of it! Breakfast was made special with ice cream on pancakes next to a pile of bacon. =-)
Happy to be 3
We had a few friends over for dinner to help celebrate the occasion with fish tacos and big doughnut looking chocolate cake.
